How to undo reposts on X with a cleaner workflow
Reposts are different from posts you wrote yourself. A good cleanup workflow should recognize that difference, work through repost controls carefully, and give you enough visibility to pause when the interface changes.
Why reposts are different
Deleting one of your own posts removes content you created. Undoing a repost removes the reshare from your profile while leaving the original post on X. That difference matters because the visible control, menu behavior, and expected result are not the same.
If you are cleaning reposts, judge success by whether the repost disappears from your profile activity, not by whether the original post disappears from X.
Recommended workflow

Navigate to the profile area that shows reposts.
Start from the exact feed or timeline view you want to clean. Repost cleanup works best when the page is already showing the activity you want removed.

Use a short batch first.
Older accounts can have years of reposts. A small batch helps confirm that the extension is finding the right controls before you continue.

Watch processed and repost counters.
The counters should move in a way that matches what you see on the page. If the cleaner processes items but repost counts do not change, pause and inspect the page.

Refresh and verify.
After a batch finishes, refresh your profile and check that reposted content is no longer visible where you expected it to disappear.
When to pause
X may throttle or change what is loaded. Pause and let the page settle before continuing.
A rising error count usually means the visible controls are not matching the expected workflow.
Stop the session before changing context, then restart only after confirming the active tab.
